We developed a series of gifts for top contributors. Custom mugs, water bottles and giant magnets were a few of the items that were sent in custom packaging and with personalized messages to thousands of Answers community members. We decided that there's no better way to explain diversity and inclusion than to let the people of Yahoo! speak for themselves. Let's face it, no major company is successful without a kick-ass sales team — and that only happens if they’re well informed. Yahoo!'s sales support team needed a one-stop spot that would clearly and easily provide access to the tools necessary to keep the sales force at the top of their game.
Key features of the solution include search returns based on role, the ability to view PowerPoint and other documents immediately without downloading, a document details with comment section, the ability to add keyword tags, last edit date, expiration, stats on views and downloads, and buttons to 'add to favorites', 'flag as old', and 'email'.
We also developed a portal specific to B2B's needs that included a calendar of upcoming events with custom markers and on-hover event details. Adding a blog gave it some personality and helped create a sense of community for a team spread across the US.
